Jumaane
Sports Therapist

Jumaane Bant

I began my career working pitchside and courtside as a first aider, gaining valuable experience in prehab and rehab for sports injuries. Over the years, I’ve worked in three clinics and with high-level athletes, including a training camp in the United States. I also spent three years in Super League Netball with the Severn Stars. My approach is hands-on, incorporating manual therapy techniques such as massage, mobilisations, and stretching. I’ve been providing massage therapy for over eight years and have developed a strong foundation in both clinical and athletic settings.

What’s the thing you’re most passionate about in your job?

I’m passionate about helping people feel and perform at their best. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone progress through their recovery. I also love the continuous learning opportunities in this field, allowing therapists to grow and refine their skills.

The best part of working here is the opportunity to collaborate with such highly skilled and knowledgeable colleagues. The environment is inspiring and fosters both personal and professional growth.

I enjoy staying active by playing rugby, going to the gym, and participating in other sports. I love keeping fit and challenging myself physically.

Mexican and Lebanese food are my absolute favourites.

The Galápagos Islands are at the top of my travel bucket list.

My perfect Sunday starts with an early training or gym session, followed by a relaxing afternoon watching sports—preferably the Six Nations, football, NBA, or NFL.

I don’t have a single favourite movie, but I enjoy a wide variety of genres depending on my mood.
