Physiotherapist

Julia Truong

I am an Australian-trained physiotherapist with a background that is deeply rooted in the private sector. In the last four years, I have developed a strong focus on musculoskeletal physiotherapy, treating patients across the lifespan. I am passionate about and hold experience working in a range of settings from elite soccer and football teams to post-operative patients in a private and community-based setting. I hold additional qualifications in dry needling, Pilates, strength and conditioning and am always aiming to deliver evidence-based, holistic care tailored to each individual.
What’s the thing you’re most passionate about in your job?
I’m most passionate about empowering people to take control of their bodies and return to the activities they love – whether that’s chasing after their kids, or simply moving pain-free. I love combining hands-on treatment with education and exercise to help clients not just recover but build lasting strength and confidence in their movement. Seeing that shift—when someone realises they’re stronger and more capable than they thought—is incredibly rewarding.
Outside of work, I love staying active and exploring London. You’ll often find me hiking, going for a run, or discovering new corners of London—especially those hidden gems in different boroughs. I enjoy anything that gets me moving and outdoors, whether it’s a weekend trail or simply wandering through a new neighbourhood.
My favourite food is definitely a perfectly cooked steak—nothing beats it for flavour and satisfaction. And for something sweet, I can never say no to a rich, decadent chocolate cake. It’s all about balance, right?
One place I’d love to visit is Iceland—for the incredible landscapes, hot springs, waterfalls, and the chance to see the Northern Lights. It looks like the perfect mix of adventure, nature, and peace.
My favourite movie is The Pursuit of Happyness—I love how inspiring and powerful it is. It’s a great reminder of resilience, hard work, and staying focused on your goals, even when things get tough.
