I am a physiotherapist by profession having qualified in 2003 and having 20 years experience within the musculoskeletal field. Following the completion of my Sports & Exercise Medicine MSc in 2011 I have worked solely providing assessment, diagnostic imaging and musculoskeletal injections. I have further formal qualifications in medication prescribing (registered non-medical prescriber) as well as musculoskeletal diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injections.
My current NHS role involves rapid musculoskeletal assessment of patients within primary care and triaging to appropriate rehabilitation, imaging and injection or orthopaedic pathways. Privately, I support the CBR team by providing diagnostic ultrasound scans and ultrasound guided injections where required.
