After graduating with a BSc Honours degree from Durham University, I went on to complete an MSc degree in physiotherapy at Brighton University. I then worked at Frimley Park Hospital for over three years, and as a Senior Physiotherapist, I deputized as Clinical Lead for the inpatient and outpatient amputee service. I subsequently moved to one of London’s major teaching hospitals, working as a Senior Physiotherapist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital for a further three years.
There, I continued to develop my rehabilitation skills, working with trauma and post-operative patients in the Intensive Care Unit and surgical wards. I was also involved in lecturing on the King’s College University Physiotherapy Programme. I subsequently went on to work in amputee rehabilitation at Dorset Orthopaedics, helping people learn to walk, run, and cycle again after amputation. Here, I developed my rehabilitation skills further, with a particular focus on gait re-education, functional rehabilitation, and holistic care.
I have a keen interest in sport-specific rehabilitation and hold qualifications in Sports Massage and Acupuncture. I am a qualified APPI Pilates instructor and run local classes as well as one-to-one sessions at the clinic.
Helping people achieve their personal goals, whether that be pain-free daily activities or returning to a high level of sporting performance. Enabling someone to return to what they love doing is hugely rewarding! Having been a patient myself, I am passionate about providing a holistic, individualized, and engaging approach, grounded in evidence-based treatments.
It’s a wonderful team of clinicians to work alongside, with a huge variety of expertise and clinical specialities.
I love sports and being in nature. I am a keen triathlete, regularly competing in standard and middle-distance events. I love exploring new places (normally on a bike!) but also enjoy relaxing with friends over some good food.
My favourite spot for a getaway is Mallorca—a great place for cycling in the mountains and sea swimming in warm water!
